This video traces the path of a hand drawing each letter of the alphabet through the air with pieces of thread. Looping and twisting throughout the curves of each letter, the lines of thread then fall to the floor in a pile of forms that mimic the original alphabetical characters yet are rendered completely unrecognizable. This exercise abstracts the foundations of language, alluding to the ambiguity and fleeting nature of communication.
